Visually, there is no distinction between a color-changing ceramic mug and a standard one; however, when hot water above 40°C is poured into the mug, a transformation occurs. Upon contact with heat, it reveals various colorful patterns, making this ceramic mug feel truly magical. How are these color-changing ceramic cups made? A heat-sensitive material is applied to the cup’s surface. Using a thermal transfer process, a layer of medium-to-high-temperature transfer paper—a special paper designed for heat-activated ink—is first sprayed onto the cup. Then, through a heating process, the patterns and text are imprinted onto the cup. After a series of manufacturing steps, the result is an interesting and attractive color-changing ceramic cup.
